Job Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems for construction projects, including power distribution, lighting, and safety systems.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Conduct load calculations and electrical system analysis to ensure efficiency and compliance with codes.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
- Review and approve electrical contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material samples.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor the progress of electrical installations and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during construction and commissioning phases.
- Ensure that all electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with local codes and standards.
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for project management and stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proven experience with electrical design and installation for large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with project management and coordination with contractors and subcontractors.
