Responsibilities
- Participate in the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of goal-oriented nursing case activities to a group of assigned patients
- Perform designated procedures and treatments to patients according to expected standards of practice and guidelines to improve their general comfort and wellbeing of patients
- Assist in discharge planning activities
- Work in collaboration with the Staff Nurse to prioritise and organize care to meet the treatment and rehabilitative needs of patients
- Record informative, accurate and concise statements on the nursing care rendered to the patients
- Assist the doctor and nursing staff during treatment and examination of patients
- Assist in carer's training and basic health teaching of patients and their families
- Demonstrate good interpersonal relations with the colleagues, patients and public
- Provide and maintain clean, safe and a rehabilitative environment for patients
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of all equipment/instruments, surgical items and material, medical packs/sets, linen and rations in the ward
- Accompany patients to various hospitals/departments as assigned
Requirements
- At least a Certificate or Nitec in Nursing
- Must be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
- Willing to work rotating shift on 12 hours shift
