The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) seeks to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing that is centred around each person. In this role, you will collaborate with the clinical leads and planning teams to support the informatics requirements for ongoing operations and development of new services and capabilities, as well as to promote patient safety and increased productivity. Your responsibilities will include working with internal and external stakeholders to develop the informatics requirements in line with the development of hospital services and operational plans, coordinate workflow simulations based on various scenarios to test new models both virtually and on physical prototypes, develop procurement and resourcing plans to support assigned projects, and support operational readiness, activation and transition (ORAT) plan of the hospitals.

Additionally, you will supervise and ensure effective performance of staff, motivate, and manage staff in the delivery of services as well as to facilitate coordination meetings with various project stakeholders and the reporting to the Hospital Planning Committee.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics or Engineering is preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of related work experience, with at least 2 years in local hospital operations
  • Knowledge & skill in project management, demonstrated proficiency in technology implementation strategies, would be a strong advantage
  • Ability to manage a high performing team
  • Team player with excellent planning, analytical and communication skills
  • Possess critical thinking skills and willing to think outside of the box
  • Able to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging conditions
  • Action-oriented, highly motivated and target-focused
