The Sales Supervisor at The Winery will lead the team to meet and exceed revenue goals while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role focuses on managing and motivating the sales team, building strong client relationships, and implementing strategic sales initiatives to increase restaurant traffic, reservations, and event bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, local businesses, and event planners to drive reservations and event bookings.
· Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
· Engage with VIP clients and foster loyalty by offering personalized service and exclusive offers.
· Implement and oversee targeted sales initiatives to maximize revenue from restaurant services, catering, private dining, and special events.
· Collaborate with marketing to create promotional materials, special packages, and seasonal offers.
· Analyze sales trends and adjust strategies to maximize bookings during peak and off-peak times.
· Track and report on daily, weekly, and monthly sales metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
· Provide accurate forecasts and ensure the team meets or exceeds revenue targets.
· Collaborate with restaurant management to develop budgets and set sales objectives.
· Oversee the planning and execution of private events, ensuring that client expectations are met.
· Work closely with the kitchen, service, and operations teams to ensure flawless event delivery.
· Ensure all event details, such as menu preferences and setup, are handled per client requirements.
· Maintain a deep understanding of the restaurant’s offerings, menu items, seasonal specialties, and unique selling points.
· Train the sales team on the restaurant’s products to enhance their ability to recommend items and packages effectively.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales or supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or catering environment.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Strong knowledge of sales techniques, CRM software, and basic budgeting and reporting.
