RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct high-quality guided tours and interactive activities for all levels of visitors (e.g. students and tourists)
- Assist with event coordination and crowd management
- Assist with site facility checks, site operations and submit administrative/operations' reports
- Perform visitor services' duties
- Undertake historical and related research from time to time as directed by senior management
JOB SCOPE
In-House Tours and Interactive Activities
- Conduct daily in-house guided tours
- Handle guest enquiries
- Gather feedback on visitor experience
- Perform service recovery (where necessary)
Retail
- Handle cash register sales
- General in-house announcements and AV operations
- Counter sales (in-house guided tours and gift shop)
- Registration of visitors
Stocktaking
- Daily and end-of-month stocktakes
- Stock tallying and monitoring
- Stock deliveries and replenishment of merchandise
Other Duties
- Maintain museum decorum and general cleanliness
- Maintain facility security
- Simple F&B duties
- Assist in emergency evacuation/administer first aid
- Other duties as and when assigned by senior management
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
- Not necessary; however, prior experience (at least 1 year) working at heritage sites or attractions will be an advantage.
