Responsibilities:
• Report to the Chief Resident Engineer (CRE) and assist with coordination and interfacing matters with the Contractors of the IWMF and also TWRP.
• With a focus on inter-disciplinary construction management, assist the CRE to coordinate the existing team of discipline Lead Resident Engineers as required, including liaison with our in-house Engineering Design Manager (EDM) on any outstanding design issues that may affect immediate construction activities.
• Lead and coordinate the construction work interface between IWMF contractors and TWRP contractors works and tie-ins etc and in particular with counterpart Interface Manager from TWRP.
• Lead and set up interface meetings between the various Contractors to drive the Contractors to resolve their coordination and tie-in point issues.
• Coordinate with BIM Manager and set up interface BIM walk through sessions as required with the Contractors.
• Project delivery planning updates for the interfacing/tie-in points from the IWMF/TWRP Contractors with a specific focus on MEICA issues given the stage of the project.
• Coordinate and expedite internally on urgent RFA/RFI submissions with regards to interfacing matters, in particular between EPC1 and EPC2 but also with IWMF and TWRP.
• Attend other site meetings as required by CRE and coordinate internally to resolve technical issues with the Contractors with regards to interfacing matters with a specific focus on MEICA issues given the stage of the project.
• Attend and follow-up on interface/coordination matters arising from Weekly Progress Meetings, MEICA Erection Meetings, Contractors Interface Meetings, BIM Review Meetings, interface meetings with TWRP, etc and as required for the coordinated completion of the Works under each contract as they lead into the Testing and Commissioning phase of the project.
Requirements:
• A relevant Mechanical Engineering Degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) or registration with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in design coordination, MEICA interface management, and construction of large infrastructure and/or industrial projects, waste to energy plants, power plant projects, or waste/water management projects in Singapore is preferred but overseas/international experience will also be considered as relevant for a multidisciplinary experienced candidate.
