- Monitor customer spare requirement and liaise with various departments to activate, track, and expedite on the replenishment of on-site inventory upon usage.
- Act as customer account planner and point of contact for customer enquiries on material requirement.
- Initiate loan/exchange/purchase activities to support material shortages.
- Monitor EDD and AWB information and accurately update the Web portal.
- Weekly reporting at Customer operations meeting on spares status.
- Raise Purchase Req for Class C and D components.
- Follow up on operations spares issuance for closure; handling of administrative functions relating to customer’s spare orders.
- Providing timely responses to customers’ queries and requests.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Polytechnic Diploma in an Engineering Field.
- Working experience in material management in the aviation industry would be an advantage. Candidates with experience in inventory management in other industries would also be considered.
- At least 2 years working/professional experience. Working experience in the aviation industry would be preferred.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good human relations skills.
- Ability to learn fast and willingness to take up additional responsibilities.
- Proficiency with SAP will be advantageous.
- Customer-centric with the ability to adapt to different types of characters.
