Key Responsibilities
- As the Head of Procurement in the telecommunications and Information Technology industry, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure the cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This pivotal role involves strategic sourcing, cost management, risk mitigation, supplier relationship management, compliance, team leadership, market analysis, contract management, continuous improvement, and collaboration with various departments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement, specifically within the telecommunications and/or Information Technology industry.
- Strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of the telecommunications industry and its supply chain dynamics.
- Leadership experience with the ability to guide, train, and support a procurement team.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards in procurement.
- Analytical skills to assess market trends, pricing, and technological advancements.
- Contract management expertise, including negotiation, review, and renewal.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on enhancing procurement processes.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for effective integration with other business departments.
- Able to relocate is a MUST.
