Business Function
Treasury & Markets (T&M) provides comprehensive solutions tailored to serve clients' hedging and investment needs, with a focus on regional markets. With a robust track record in wealth management innovation, serves individual investors and leads in SGD and regional products. The division boasts a customer-driven research capability complemented by advanced risk management technology and systems. T&M offers a wide array of services in foreign exchange, derivatives, money market, and securities trading to corporations and financial institutions, trading across a full product range, including foreign exchange, interest rates, and derivatives.
Responsibilities
- Project Plan Management: Develop, execute, and close project plans; revise to meet evolving needs and requirements.
- Document Preparation: Drive project scoping and initiation, business case, and business requirements documents.
- Team & Stakeholder Management: Lead project teams, sponsors, and stakeholders across business and technology functions from Front, Middle, and Back Office.
- Process Improvement: Work across business and technology lines to define, analyze, and lead improvements to business processes and procedures, aligning with best practices, regulatory, and legal compliance.
- Resource & Budget Management: Oversee project resources, budget, scope, risks, schedule, deliverables, issues, and escalations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage teams and stakeholders throughout all project phases, including requirements gathering, design specifications, identifying the target operating model, facilitating user training, and managing UAT, Go-Live rollout, and parallel runs.
- Documentation: Produce and maintain key project documentation throughout the lifecycle, including plans, status reports, issue, and risk logs.
- Reporting: Create and deliver detailed project reports and presentations for senior management updates.
- Methodology Adherence: Apply project management methodologies and enforce project standards.
- Post-Implementation Review: Conduct reviews post-implementation.
Requirements
- Educational Background: University graduate in Business Management, Information Systems/Technology, or Finance from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years managing large-scale projects end-to-end, preferably in a large global financial institution.
- Certifications: Project management certification and/or Agile (Product Owner or Scrum Master) certification is a plus.
- Skills:Strong influencing, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
Results-oriented, capable of handling multiple initiatives simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
Independent worker, able to gather requirements, prepare project plans, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Self-starter with determination to succeed, able to work with individuals from diverse cultures across regions.
Willing to challenge existing processes to improve outcomes.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Preferred Knowledge: Familiarity with Treasury and/or Wholesale.
