Responsibilities:
- Ensure the company functions in a legal and ethical manner while meeitng its business goals
- Responsible for carrying out internal audit and risk management programs, execution of company policies, and advising management on possible compliance risks
- Plan and execute internal audit activities such as operational and compliance audits
- Review integrity of operational data and compliance with established policies and procedures and / or applicable laws and regulations
- Identify internal control weaknesses, operational issues and business inefficiencies
- Recommend appropriate solutions that can address root causes and add-value to the Company based on best practices; follow-up on corrective actions
- Prepare clear and concise reports in English for all level of key stakeholders including senior management
- Prepare audit work papers to support audit test work and conclusions
- Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Conduct special audits or ad-hoc projects as and when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or equivalent (e.g. ACCA or CA)
- Other professional certification (CIA/CISA or CFE) would be advantageous
- Minimum 3 years experience in internal audit, risk, compliance and governance role
- Exposure to regulatory requirements (financial reporting, tax, human resources, EHS) would be advantageous
- Experience with SAP would be advantageous
- A strong team player with an analytical/inquiring mind
- Independent, self-driven and pro-active attitude
- Willing to travel overseas to conduct audits or related activities (if required)
- Experience in internal audit, risk, compliance and governance role
- Experience with SAP would be advantageous
- Exposure to regulatory requirements (financial reporting, tax, human resources, EHS) would be advantageous
