We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Officer to join the team. In this role, you will assist the Vessel Manager in the smooth operation and maintenance of our fleet, focusing on the purchasing of spare parts and consumables, managing documentation, and coordinating logistics for supplies and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with purchasing spare parts and consumables for ships
- Maintain documentation, including checklists and records of vessel certifications and manuals
- Track technical operating costs and verify invoices
- Arrange logistics for supplies and service providers
- Support daily vessel operations and routine repairs
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in ship management, ship owning, or purchasing for vessels on international voyages
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
- Knowledge of ShipNet or Eyeshare software is an advantage
