- Develop and optimize high-performance trading applications in Java and Rust, focusing on ultra-low latency and efficiency.
- Write, maintain, and enhance complex SQL queries, ETL pipelines, and data extraction tools to support data flows.
- Implement and manage scalable systems and APIs using GraphQL, integrating data across diverse platforms.
- Script and automate workflows in Linux using Shell scripting to streamline processes and improve data processing speeds.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to design A/B testing frameworks and benchmarking tools for continuous system improvement.
- Contribute to backend services with Python, Ruby, and JavaScript, ensuring robust, reliable, and scalable code.
- Utilize performance monitoring tools to identify latency bottlenecks and optimize system throughput.
- Manage and deploy code on various environments, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a trading firm or latency-sensitive environment.
- Proficiency in Java, Rust, Python, Linux Shell, SQL, and GraphQL.
- Solid experience in high-performance computing and low-latency optimizations.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and memory management.
- Experience with performance profiling and tuning tools for latency measurement.
- Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
- Experience in distributed computing and data storage solutions.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of financial trading and market data.
- Ability to speak business-level Mandarin is a plus, especially for coordinating with stakeholders in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong
