We have partnered with an international company in the Lubricants and Additives space. In this senior position you will take charge of a specific product line working with various disciplines like sales, technical, marketing, R&D and at times act as a key advisor to the most important clients. We are looking for an experienced professional with wealth of knowledge in the lube oil additives space previously either in commercial or technical capacity. Both backgrounds are acceptable. Perfect position for a sales manager to move into a more strategic role, or for an experienced engineer to get more commercial exposure.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and implementing strategic opportunities for a particular business unit,
- Product Management - taking responsibility for all aspects of a product lifecycle including short and long term product business development and marketing,
- Business development - strategically create a plan to identify, evaluate and structure sales, partnerships, M&A or licensing,
- Account Management- develop and implement a plan to maintain relationships with existing clients. Be part of key account management as well,
- Multi-disciplinary management working alongside commercial team, managing a technical team as well as interacting with R&D and clients,
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends global reach,
- Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs,
- Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in Lubricant Additives in any of the following capacity: Product Management, Sales, Technical, Account Management, Marketing and others,
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills,
- Regional experience would be a plus.
