DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Planning & Scheduling:
- To manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including production processes, and logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products.
- To schedule the maintenance of tools and equipment to support production plans
- To ensure proper functioning of production machine and identify the repair needs and routine maintenance of production equipment
- To organized & upkeep all production & administration documents for traceability & record.
Staff Management:
- To communicate regulary with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
- To lead and motivate the production/warehouse team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and morale.
Quality Control:
- To ensure all production processes meet quality standards, implementing control measures to maintain consistency.
Process Improvement:
- To identify and implement efficiency-boosting improvements, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance productivity.
Safety & Compliance:
- To oversee day-to-day activities on the production floor
- To ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, implement safety protocols and procedures, and promote a culture of safety within the production workplace.
The successful candidate will be a demonstrated self-starter with a proactive, hands-on approach, possessing excellent interpersonal, decision making, team work & communication skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Possess a Nitec/Diploma/Degree in a relevant discipline
Good to have relevant working experiences in production/manufacturing field
Industry/ Organization Type: Workshop & Manufacturing
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
At least 3 years of experience is required for this role
