PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Responsible and support project development activities for projects of Project Management Office, Singapore and Southeast Asia.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible and support in project development activities including pre-feasibility/ feasibility studies, technical due diligence, cost estimation, site survey, technical proposal to customer, project / EPC scoping strategy, vendor selection and review, determine LCOE, budgetary quotation review and clarifications, and all related technical support and solutions etc.
- Wind projects development to enable identification, site exclusivity, development, consent, construction and operation of onshore and offshore assets
- Working with the technical teams and commercial team to provide inputs on the FEED activities, as well as contracts negotiation to mitigate risks
- Project costing, scheduling and manage the relevant stakeholders both internally and externally
- Manage the tender process and tender assessment for EPC contractors, surveys and studies
- Participate in review on inter-disciplines design/ engineering/ constructability to consider safety, quality, performance, reliability, flexibility of operation with optimal project and life cycle cost.
- Evaluation of new technology and innovation solutions via strong engineering first principles and fundamentals
- Participate in and review of HAZOP, QRA, EIA studies.
- Familiar with energy resource simulation and and optimisation tools.
- Ensure all activities carried out are in full compliance to all regulatory and authority requirement.
- All value engineering and strategic plan developed shall ensure Capex remain competitive, sustainable and meets company business and operational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, project management discipline or equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience in energy business and/or renewables related project development
- Experience within project/ development management environment, in renewables business, ideally on Wind projects development and execution.
- Experience in renewable energy, energy & utilities, and process plant projects are preferred.
