Responsibilities:
- Assures regulatory compliance of product, label and communication.
- Ensures regulatory compliance and act as key liason with relevant units, including marketing and factories for SG regulations.
- Provide opportunity / risk assessment on regulatory environment at early stage of I&R process to facilitate decision-making and help timely launches.
- Handles Healthier Choice Application and manage liaison with relevant HPB department.
- Influence SFA on company positions in relation to business need.
- Ensures that all relevant functions are kept informed about emerging local regulatory issues and implementation schedules for new regulations.
- Builds and maintains relationships with authorities (SFA, HSA, HPB and NEA).
- Participates actively / pro-actively in the interpretation, elaboration and revision of SG Food Regulations.
- Implement nutrition education both internallly and externally.
- Acts as a key contact for all NHW realted issues internally and externally with key stakeholders like HPB.
