Job Summary
To provide SAP Basis support for a local Chinese restaurant. He/She will be
- responsible for the day-to-day operations of the SAP systems.
- system configuration, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the environment.
- He/She will need to provide technical support and leadership for SAP systems, which can include implementing patches, overseeing upgrades, establishing processes for monitoring performance, system configuration, design, and application support.
Job Description
- Ensuring 24/7 SAP system availability.
- Responsible for Managing User/Client Administration, Authorization Management, System Performance Management, Audit Management, Transport Management System, Background Job, Patches installation, System Backup & Recovery, Kernel Upgrade, OS & Database Maintenance for Jumbo Group wide.
- Responsible for managing and conducting SAP Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery.
- Ensure Optimum server performance and Preventive maintenance to keep daily operation smooth.
- Manage SAP daily support ticket within defined Service Level.
- Custodian for SAP System Architecture, Hardware, and integration landscape.
- Manage and liaise with third party vendor.
- Deliver all IT projects on time.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
- Knowledge in Basis Administration is a must
- 1 to 2 years of relevant SAP Basis experience
- Basic knowledge on SAP HANA and Netweaver technology
- Interested in processes within software development landscapes
- Prior experience in S4/Hana would be advantageous
- Analytical, meticulous and have good sense in troubleshooting
- Ability to articulate and communicate with people of all levels in the organization
- Able to work independently and lead in projects
- Linux, SAP S4/Hana environment
