Our client, a rapidly- growing Commodities Trading House has been a driving force in this market- actively expanding in Asia and Australia through mergers and acquisitions, whilst also growing their teams with capable talents. They are keen to develop their talents within the company and encourage internal transfers to different teams and projects.
Now, they are looking for an Application Support Analyst to join their 'Central Team'.
Quick Overview
With extensive experience under the belt, especially with PowerShell, PowerBI, and SQL database, you will be taking up an collaborative and self-motivated role within the team.
You will be responsible for handling applications and incidents in the 'Central' team, being the front liner to handle L1 - L3 incidents for front office & post trade applications .
Your Duties:
- Provide support for all Trading & Back Office Platforms to both internal client base
- Support of Business users offering L1 - L3
- Liaising with external vendors to manage vendor system upgrades and implementation
- Knowledge of scripting language (PowerShell, Python...)
- Provide incident management per ITIL standards.
Your ESSENTIAL Key skills and Technologies:
- Minimum 8 years of experience within application support
- 'MUST HAVE' Advance Technical skills: PowerShell, SQL,
- Windows, Linux/Unix OS
- Incident management, change management
- Able to prioritize tasks and balance with project work.
