Role:
This is a full-time, onsite, Science Teacher Assistant Role in MOE Primary School. If you are selected,
You will work closely with HOD/LH-Science and/or Admin Manager in an MOE Primary School (nearest MRT- Punggol) in the day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage stock-taking of equipment and Science resource materials.
• Prepare lab materials/resources to ensure experiment is carried out effectively.
• Maintain a catalogue of lab resources to assist teachers in planning of their activities.
• Assist in product specifications and sourcing of teaching apparatus, posters and furniture to enhance lab’s appearance and functionality.
• Assist teachers when experiments are carried out.
• Keep a log on loaning and returning of apparatus.
• Assist in the preparation of apparatus and equipment for lessons.
• Maintain general cleanliness and functionality of equipment.
• Sit in during Science Olympiad lessons.
• Any other jobs assigned by the department - administrative work which include collation of teaching and learning materials and preparation of resources necessary for teaching and learning in science, helping during Science Practical Assessments.
Job Requirements:
• At least 3 passes at GCE ‘N’ level
• Relevant experience as a Lab Technician in a school setting is highly advantageous
• Possesses good communication skills to liaise with teachers, students and other stakeholders.
• Meticulous and detailed in carrying out tasks.
Summary:
Contract Period: From 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
Working Hours:
• Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Fridays: 8am to 5pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
