Scope of Responsibilities
1. To ensure the satisfactory operation of all the specialized/TCS equipment and installations at all times.
2. To ensure services delivery are meeting the maintenance standard and requirement such as LLM APST, SIRIM ISO and Internal Audit:
- In-charge of maintenance and improvement works for Toll Collection System
- Timeliness in completing assigned tasks
- To supervise and monitor the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance and Enhancement works carried out by contractors / junior staff
3. To ensure compliance with regulations, related to the Environmental Quality Act, Safety and Health Act, and management system standards, while ensuring that the QESH achieves its intended results by incorporating
- a process approach, risk-based thinking, and implementing improvements to enhance performance.
- Key Tasks
- To carry out Preventive and Corrective maintenance works.
- To carry out 1st level of maintenance works.
- To prepare maintenance report on any malfunctions / defects affecting equipment.
- To repair electronic equipment / machines.
- To inspect all the specialised / TCS equipment.
- To be part of the Emergency Response Team and attend to emergency situation when instructed.
- To monitor and supervise works undertaken by maintenance contractor / junior staff.
- To monitor and supervise interfacing works undertaken by other party which are related to the system or equipment installed.
- To provide assistance and technical advice to other team members / maintenance contractor.
- To perform standby duties and response promptly in the event of any equipment or system failure / malfunction in meeting the Emergency Call Back standard.
- To attend, rectify and update status of defect or request raised in the e-Work System.
- To attend, check and update status of the defect raised i.e. NOD / NCR in the Expressway Performance Indicator System (EPI) of LLM.
- To prepare Requisition Form (RF) in e-PO System in obtaining management approval for the Purchase Order (PO) issuance to maintenance contractors.
- To assist TCS section for yearly budgeting for maintenance and improvement budget i.e. minor repair, enhancement, consumable and capex.
- To exercise safety at site for own and ensure safety procedure is implemented by contractor at work as per OSHA requirements.
- To undertake any job assignment / improvement / planning work related to TCS and meet the needs or requirements of the company business.
- To undertake other duties as directed by the Head of Group Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma or Certificate in Electronic Engineering from Local University / Technical Institution or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in repair and maintenance of electronic equipment
- Well verse with Toll Collection System maintenance.
- Good communication skills in Malay,English language for both spoken and written
- Ability to work under pressure, independent and possess analytical and logical thinking.
