Children and Youth Group, Gracehaven Fostering seeks to provide a safe and secure home for foster children and young persons who are in need of care and protection.
Appointed by the Ministry of Social and Family Development in November 2017, Gracehaven Fostering seeks to partner foster families to provide an interim or long term alternative care in a home-based environment for foster children whose parents are unable to care for them.

RESPONSIBILITIES
About the Job
Children in foster care need passionate, skillful advocates. They find them in their foster care social workers, who oversee their cases and help children, and their families, manage the challenges of the foster care system.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and support for the Foster Child and Young Person
- Provide supervision and support Foster Parents
- Assess the suitability of new Foster Parents
- Provide support to the team in planning and execution of outreach events aimed at recruiting new foster parents and volunteers
- Degree or Graduate Diploma in Social Work from a recognisable university
- Member of Singapore Association of Social Workers is preferred
- At least 2 years relevant experience
- Experience in working with children and youths and their families
Working HoursMonday to Friday - 9am to 6 pm
