Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects and designers to create functional, safe, and innovative structures
- Develop detailed architectural designs using CAD software
- Analyze and select appropriate construction materials
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and architectural standards
- Test building systems and components to identify potential design improvements
- Oversee and inspect construction projects to ensure adherence to design specifications
- Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor
- Report on project status to stakeholders regularly
- Keep updated with new design methodologies and tools
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as an Architectural Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of CAD software and other architectural design tools
- Good understanding of building physics and architectural design principles
- Knowledge of construction methods and building materials
- Project management skills
- Familiarity with safety standards and building codes
- BSc degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering or relevant field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
