Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Class 3 Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering products to various retail outlets while ensuring timely and efficient service. Roles & Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Drive company vehicles to deliver products safely to retail outlets.
- Route Planning: Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and timely arrivals.
- Loading & Unloading: Use appropriate equipment to load and unload products.
- Delivery Verification: Check delivery instructions and product quantities before departure.
- Compliance: Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with supervisors and customers regarding schedules and issues.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and report any issues.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage and delivery times.
- Support Tasks: Assist with warehouse tasks or inventory management as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with local roads and delivery routes.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
Additional Information
- Salary: Up to $3,000 basic per month.
- Working Days/Hours: Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Location: UBI
- Vehicle Types: Drive 10FT & 12FT closed lorries.
