Responsibilities
- ***Cost Management: Collaborate with BU teams to track costs, identify cost saving opportunities, and implement necessary actions.
- **Business Partnering: Act as a business partner to subsidiary leaders and finance teams, offering financial insights and recommendations beyond standard accounting practices.
- Finance Leadership: Lead and manage the finance team members across the region. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Accounting & Tax Management: Oversee accounting operations, including financial reporting, statutory compliance, and tax compliance. Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory and tax obligations (audit, corporate tax, GST, withholding tax, transfer pricing documentation, etc.).
- Regional Financial Forecast: Manage forecasting processes across the region. Provide financial insights to support business decisions and contribute to the strategic planning process.
- Project Management: Support and manage finance projects such as mergers, acquisitions. Provide supports to post merger finance integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting. At least 3-5 years of experience in a regional role within an MNC, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in people management, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial insights.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in China.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
