We are seeking a skilled Information L3 Infrastructure / Endpoint Support Engineer fluent in Mandarin (spoken, written, and reading in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese) to support users primarily in Hong Kong and mainland China (Shanghai & Beijing). This role requires effective communication with users who may not speak English, ensuring clear understanding and adherence to IT protocols. Experience in a legal or law firm environment is highly advantageous. The position will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and overall health of IT infrastructure, managing desktops, workstations, and endpoints such as laptops, desktops, VDI, and mobile devices.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated support for users in Hong Kong and mainland China, ensuring all communication is clear and meets company IT standards.
  • Implement and maintain endpoint patching and provisioning systems (SCCM, Intune, MDT) to ensure all devices meet standards, are updated, and maintained throughout their lifecycle.
  • Manage and provision virtual desktop infrastructure in Azure VDI/Citrix, maintaining resources like gold images and deployment repositories, and supporting L3 issues for end users.
  • Develop and use scripts and PowerShell applications to automate various System Admin functions.
  • Package and deploy software as required, in line with new releases and project needs.
  • Serve as an escalation point for Level 3 engineering issues, working closely with teams in Architecture & Engineering and Local IS Support.
  • Document system processes, modifications, and upgrades, maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date documentation.
  • Participate in systems development and the integration of new and existing systems, following best practices for business continuity.
  • Stay current with new technology trends and evaluate which solutions can meet business and system requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of IS policies, including security, disaster recovery, and operational standards.
  • Provide Level 3 support for a range of technology solutions, including Office365, SCCM, VDI, and desktop applications.
  • Take part in special enterprise-wide assignments, sharing leadership responsibilities within the team.
  • Assist in maintaining open communication with senior IS management to ensure timely updates on projects and status.
  • Operate within policies, supporting the Information Security team, and resolve issues related to project deadlines and workloads.

Skills & Experience:

Required:

  • Fluency in Mandarin, with strong written and spoken abilities in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
  • 2+ years of experience in enterprise-class technology environments, ideally within multi-office settings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SCCM, Intune, Office365 Suite, AzureVDI, Citrix XenApp, and VDI.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Enterprise suite, Windows Server roles (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP), and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs).
  • Powershell scripting skills; DevOps knowledge is a plus.
  • Availability for an on-call rotation requiring 24-hour support coverage.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Law firm or professional services experience.
  • Certifications in Litera Suite, Endpoint Backups (OneDrive, Druva), or Mac OS familiarity.
