Job Description:
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers.
- Coordinate with customers and engineers / Operation department to assess service job requirements.
- Coordinate with admin staff for engineer deployment.
- Secure and renew orders and overseas delivery/logistics.
- Collaborate with other Sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales / technical support.
- Expand sales for existing & new customers and product portfolio.
- Follow up and negotiate for orders with customers. Regular customer visits.
- Identify new opportunities under market conditions and prepare market reports accordingly.
- Comprehensive communication with the customers of the target market regarding the products.
- Attend vessels/sites in both local and overseas for engine repair/maintenance.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the department head.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Marine/Business/Marketing or equivalent
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the Marine Industry.
- A strong technical knowledge of Marine Engines and Spare parts
- Knowledge and understanding of the overseas markets, trading skills required.
- Required to make business trips to developing countries and work in high stress sales environment and multitask.
- Have the experience to station in developing countries.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build relationships with clients quickly.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Mature, independent, good working attitude, and a team player.
- Candidates must be keen to work hands-on and initiative.
- Positive attitude, willing to travel.
