CEO, MANGING DIRECTOR

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and global expansion of PLAI, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values.
  • Operational Management : Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of PLAI’s suite of management tools, custom team websites, and administrative dashboards.
  • Team Building & Development : Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing executive team, fostering a collaborative and positive work culture that aligns with PLAI’s ethos of partnership and support.
  • Business Development : Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansions to strengthen PLAI's presence in the sports management sector.
  • Financial Stewardship : Ensure the financial health of the company through effective budget management, financial planning, and revenue growth strategies. Oversee the digital payment ecosystem within the PLAI platform to maximise revenue and minimise cash slippage for users.
  • Product Innovation : Work closely with the technology and product teams to drive continuous innovation, enhancing the features of the PLAI app to better serve the needs of sports club administrators and players.
  • Brand & Community Engagement : Act as the public face of PLAI, representing the company at industry events, media engagements, and in front of key stakeholders. Champion PLAI’s values and commitment to being subscription-free, reinforcing the brand’s unique market position.
  • Global Expansion : Lead initiatives to scale PLAI’s business model, focusing on international market penetration and customer base expansion.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years in critical leadership roles, with a proven track record in team management and organisational leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, business development, and scaling businesses across diverse markets.
  • Background in technology company leadership is preferred but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including club administrators, coaches, players, and business partners.
  • Strong financial acumen, with a history of driving revenue growth and managing budgets.
