Job Responsibilities
- Lead and enhance the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with marine class approvals and Part 145 regulations.
- Drive quality initiatives and foster a culture of quality across all divisions.
- Organize and conduct internal and external audits; coordinate third-party or client audits as needed.
- Establish, implement, and coordinate audit and approval programs, report audit outcomes, and track corrective actions.
- Support root cause analysis with guidance and training, helping to develop preventive action plans.
- Conduct incident investigations and prepare regulatory-compliant reports.
- Provide training on QMS processes, quality principles, tools, and techniques for employees.
- Manage Singapore site licensing and product/service registration for new applications and renewals.
- Oversee budgeting and cost control for QMS projects, training, audits, certifications, and professional subscriptions.
- Implement and maintain quality procedures across assigned sites, keeping a register of quality approvals and procedures.
- Communicate quality procedures to regional teams, ensuring understanding and adherence.
- Conduct scheduled audits for operational, technical, health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Investigate non-conformance and complaints, ensuring documentation, reporting, and escalation.
- Monitor and follow up on supplier corrective actions and improvements.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for quality improvement.
- Advise senior management on compliance and supplier quality improvement needs.
- Perform any additional duties or projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or equivalent, with at least 5 years of managerial experience in marine, aviation, or related fields.
- Certified ISO9001:2015 internal/lead auditor.
- Completed CAAS M10/L11/L12 exams.
- Ability to interpret CMM, including IPL and special tooling/equipment listings.
- Experience liaising with OEMs for capability expansion preferred.
- Certification or experience in Lean, Kaizen, and 5S, with familiarity in quality tools and techniques.
- Knowledgeable in relevant standards and regulatory requirements for quality systems in marine, defense, and aviation.
- Skilled in administration, maintenance, and development of Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean, or similar methodologies in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain contexts.
