Job Scope:
- Design and implement monitoring systems for geological and environmental applications
- Conduct site assessments and geological surveys to gather data
- Analyze and interpret geological and geotechnical data for project planning
- Develop instrumentation protocols for data collection and monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on engineering and geological projects
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Maintain and calibrate monitoring equipment and instrumentation
- Prepare technical reports and documentation based on findings
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis and geological assessments
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering geology
- Degree in Geology or Engineering Geology
- Experience as a geologist or instrumentation-monitoring engineer on deep excavation projects
- Familiarity with weathered granite deposits and working in confined conditions (e.g., under tunnel roof slabs)
- Strong knowledge of civil projects
