about the job
As a Sales Development Representative, you will focus on converting marketing-qualified leads into sales-ready opportunities. This position is an excellent opportunity to bridge the gap between Marketing and Sales. Key responsibilities include:
- Initiate contact with potential leads through various channels, including phone calls, emails, video conferences, and social media.
- Develop a deep understanding of prospects' needs to align them with product and service offerings.
- Introduce offerings and provide clear information to potential clients.
- Evaluate marketing-generated leads to determine their fit with ideal customer profile.
- Gather requirements from leads to establish qualified sales opportunities before passing them to the sales team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, offering valuable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to create content that nurtures leads and enhances customer engagement.
- Document interactions and work closely with the Sales team to track pipeline activities.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognised institution is highly preferred.
- At least 2 years in a sales / business development representative and/or inside sales experience role.
- Prior experience in outbound sales, prospecting, lead qualification and setting up of sales appointments
- Experience in the sales of ERP or SaaS products to B2B customers.
- Familiarity with CRM or loyalty solutions is advantageous.
- Proficient in digital tools for analyzing prospects' businesses.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and communication skills to interface between internal stakeholders and clients
