Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the HRBPs on the implementation of global, regional and local Human Resource (HR) initiatives as well as processes for the Businesses.
- Deliver responsive and effective HR solutions and advice to the Businesses on staff related matters, which includes but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, organizational change, performance management and rewards, talent management & succession planning.
Work in partnership with HRBPs to:
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within the Bank and externally.
- Support the implementation of global and regional HR policies and processes to drive market relevant, cost effective and compliance practices.
- Support the recruitment and on-boarding for senior/critical roles.
- Collaborate with all Centres of Excellence (COEs) to deliver HR initiatives and processes.
- Liaise with external agencies like Executive Search Firms, legal and/or tax/audit consultants for varied recruitment or staff matters.
- Support the delivery of key HR processes including but not limited to compensation review, performance management, succession planning, talent management, job evaluations, engagement survey, tracking confirmation and arranging/conducting exit interviews.
- Support the implementation of organizational change initiatives including but not limited to restructures, HR system upgrades and MUFG cultural initiatives.
- Support the business on employee related matters, in the areas of performance, conduct, grievance and disciplinary.
- Support in developing and updating policies to ensure alignment with relevant regulations.
- Support internship hiring or related graduate trainee program, as required.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation.
- Provide consultation and guidance on relevant HR policies to employees and stakeholders
- Partner with COEs in supporting international assignments of identified internal assignees/talents as well as assisting in on/off-boarding of international assignees
- Prepare, maintain, analyse and evaluate reports including but not limited to headcount, talent movements, attrition rates, when required.
- Support internal and external audits within the department by preparing documentation as required.
- Track contract renewals, confirmation and conduct/arrange exit interviews.
- Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.
- Participate actively in HR projects on process efficiency and work effectiveness.
- Work collaboratively with regional counterparts
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder
- Minimum 1 year of HR Generalist experience
- Candidates with no experience but with prior 1 to 2 HR internship experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of HR processes and local employment laws
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including good working knowledge of Excel (i.e. Pivot Table, V-lookup and basic formulas in excel), PowerPoint etc.
- Good knowledge in Workday (HR system) will be advantageous.
- Basic understanding of all HR disciplines including but not limited to Recruitment, Employment Relations, HR Generalist, Rewards, Organisational Development and Talent Management.
- Good interpersonal skills to build and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with employees across all levels.
