FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are an interior contracting A&A firm on the path of improvement and growth. We are inviting an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our fast expansion team as Senior Project Manager. In this role, you will play a critical role in managing and executing various aspects of A&A projects from initiation to completion, with a particular focus on Building.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Explore and identify business growth opportunities, implement and execute business development strategies related to engineering, construction projects.
· Develop project plans and oversee all operational and administrative procedures from project initiation to completion.
· Prepare reports focusing on project progress, job status and costs.
· Involvement in proposal and tendering phase to provide insights and advice.
· Collaborate with Client, Consultant Teams and Sub-contractors to ensure that project objectives are met, and overall construction progress are within time schedules.
· Monitor and control project costs and expenses to ensure that project stays within budget.
· Stay updated on regulatory requirements, and ensure all necessary submissions, clearances and documentation are in place.
· Ensure that work meets the quality standards and specifications set forth in the project plans and contract documents, and comply with local building regulations and company ISO standards.
· Lead a team of project team members to identify and mitigate project risks, and solve construction issues throughout the project lifecycle.
· Support the Project Director in any other Project Management related activities.
· Work closely with the Business team in Japan headquarters.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· At least bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline
· Minimum 20 years working experience in project management of building and construction projects
· Dynamic and motivated personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong leadership to lead a team of dedicated project team members
· Ability to think out-of-the-box
· Fluent oral and written skills in Japanese is essential
