General Overview
The position is part of the Instrument Control and Electrical(ICE) team who is responsible for overseeing the safe and effective site execution of all electrical maintenance services and activities at the LNG Terminal.
Roles and ResponsibilIties
The incumbent shall be responsible for tasks and duties such as but not limited to the following:
- Ensuring compliance with SLNG safety procedures, local and international electrical codes and standards
- Supervising and lead a team of electrical technicians and contractors with installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Developing, conducting and ensuring that E&I team members complete the relevant structured on the job training program
- Conducting site work inspection and quality control checks on all electrical works
- Reviewing and approving all electrical isolation permits and excavation permits and other permist that is of electrical and instrument nature.
- Leading the investigation for electrical maintenance abnormality incidents in order to identify root causes of problem as well as recommending and implementing solutions
- Working with SLNG electrical engineers to develop and implement maintenance program for electrical equipment to ensure reliability/resolve any maintenance problems
- Conducting morning tool box meeting with a focus on safety and smooth execution of maintenance activities
- Participating in emergency response procedures and be assigned to any specific roles and responsibilities for such purpose.
Work Experience
- Minimum 8 years (or 15 years for diploma) of experience in an oil and gas/petrochemical E&I maintenance supervisory role
- Expert knowledge and proficiency in low and medium voltage electrical system, power transmission, network communication equipment, Motors, CCTV, security system, Earthing, lightning protection and PLC system is mandatory. Knowledge in DCS an added advantage to excel in the role

Education
- Engineering Degree/Diploma preferably in Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation/Chemical Engineering discipline.
