Job Scope:
- Requirements Gathering: Engages with stakeholders to understand their needs, identify pain points, and gather detailed requirements.
- Documentation: Creates comprehensive documents like Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Requirements Document (FRD), and Use Cases to ensure clear communication.
- Process Modeling: Utilizes tools like flowcharts, wireframes, and data models to visualize processes, workflows, and system functionality.
- Stakeholder Communication: Acts as a liaison between the technical and business teams, ensuring both sides are aligned with project goals and expectations.
- Solution Validation: Assesses whether the solution meets business requirements through user acceptance testing (UAT) and reviews. This may also include creating test cases, validating SQL queries, and ensuring data integrity.
- Data Analysis: Uses SQL to extract and analyze data, which helps in validating business scenarios, making data-driven decisions, and identifying trends or issues.
- Testing Support: Assists in system testing, integration testing, and UAT by writing and reviewing test cases, validating test results, and ensuring requirements coverage.
- Post-Implementation Support: After deployment, supports the business in resolving any issues, gathering feedback, and ensuring that the solution aligns with business objectives.
Requirements:
- Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
- Proven experience as Business Analyst with extensive testing experience, preferably in the financial or investment industry.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficient in SQL.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
