Responsibilities:
CR creation:
- Creation of Change request, gather information from multiple sources
- Follow up with user for the missing information
- Validate the CR before submission
- Follow up with various stakeholder for the approval of the change request
- Perform CR amendments based on the user request
- Close the CR
Patching
- Perform UAT and production patching
- Follow the SOP for the patching
- Do pre-preparation for the patching
- Follow up the change request and patch the server and components which are only listed in the change
- Get user confirmation before proceeding to next step
- Any issues or error report to the technical team
- Follow up with user on the verification and testing signoff
Shift:
- Its 24/7 shift work including weekends
- Patching should be performed in the patching room at office
Ideal Candidate should have 1-2 years of expereince as L1/L2 Desktop support services.
