Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Contract Programmer/Research Engineer with expertise in C#, ASP.Net, Python, Angular, as well as a strong background in Microservices and DevOps. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems and drive innovation in a collaborative research environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using C#, ASP.Net, Python, or Angular to support research projects and initiatives.
- Work closely with researchers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain microservices architecture to ensure scalability, flexibility, and reliability of software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various software components and ensure seamless functionality across platforms.
- Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software delivery and enhance efficiency.
- Conduct research and experimentation to explore emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies that can enhance our software development processes.
- Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and optimize performance to ensure the smooth operation of software systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in software engineering, microservices, and DevOps.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer, Research Engineer, or similar Internship role with a focus on C#, ASP.Net, Python, and Angular development.
- Strong proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architecture using containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Expertise in DevOps practices and tools, including but not limited to Jenkins, Bitbucket CI/CD.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues from diverse technical backgrounds.
- Experience in conducting research, experimentation, and prototyping is a plus.
