The Business Development Manager will be based in Singapore but play a pivotal role in expanding Stefania's Stones’ presence in both the Singapore and Indonesian markets, with a specific focus on the B2B category. This role requires a deep understanding of the luxury and jewelry market, the ability to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, and the skills to drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement tailored market entry and growth strategies for Indonesia, with foundational support from Singapore. Key Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Business, Marketing/Communications, Sales, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in the luxury, retail, or gemstone industry.
- Both experience in the B2B and B2C sectors is an advantage.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong network in the luxury, retail, or jewelry sector is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive business growth and meet/exceed sales targets.
- A qualification from a reputable institute in the field of gemology.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with international teams is an advantage, as well as strong knowledge of the Singapore and Indonesian market landscape.
- Fluent in English; Bahasa is a plus.
