We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic individuals to join our Choa Chu Kang Cemetery Branch (Operations and Facilities Management Department). You will be supporting the Manager/ Section Lead to manage the arborist and landscaping contracts at our closed cemeteries.
[What you will be working on]
You are required to work closely within a team, with other NEA departments as well as other partners and various government agencies/bodies.
You will be responsible for the following:
Coordinating with Arborist and Landscaping contractors
- Coordinate with both arborist and landscaping contractors, to ensure work is followed up promptly and in compliance with contract requirements.
- Track work progression, and ensure reports are submitted as scheduled.
- Work with the relevant agencies and stakeholders on trees related works.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) to contractors.
- Conduct site verifications on work done and manage payments to contractors.
- Consolidate, update, track and maintain inventory central database.
- Conduct regular Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) meetings and toolbox.
- Attend to, investigate and resolve feedback from members of public and stakeholders.
You will also be collaborating with the contract management team and Environmental Public Health Operations Group to develop requirement specifications, processes for workflow and risk management in order to implement a managing agent model for the overall grass cutting, horticulture and landscaping services in NEA’s cemeteries.

- Prior knowledge and/or experience in arboriculture will be an advantage
