Job description:
- Monitor incidents/requests though emails and Service Now ticketing system
- Daily checks of data center hardware and facility systems
- Mount and dismount of systems
- Rebooting/power-cycling and refreshing servers/equipment
- Ensuring the moving and securing of network cables and connectors
- Assist in managing asset/inventory
- Receiving requests and handling shipping
- Able to conduct audits/validation
- Escort vendors and visitors to the DC cage
- Prepare daily and other ad hoc reports for management
Requirement:
Minimum 1 year experience in Data Center operations
Experience in eyeball checking of system faults and failures
Good MS Excel and communication skills.
Good technical knowledge in Service Now or ticketing tool
Good knowledge of structured cabling
Able to work in following shifts:
0700-1600 hrs.
1400-2200 hrs.
