What you'll do:
As a Shopper Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the retail experience. Your primary responsibility will be to co-develop and execute innovative in-store marketing strategies that align with the Marketing Calendar. You will work closely with suppliers and agencies to create engaging POS materials, displays, and gadgets. Additionally, you will track merchandising and promotional activities across various retail channels while providing back-end support for monthly marketing spend tracking.
Your role extends beyond marketing as you will also liaise with sales teams on scheduling in-store activations, source GWP premiums for trade activities, and manage inventory of premium items. Lastly, your administrative skills will be put to use as you work with cross-functional teams to reconcile the monthly A&P budget and oversee procurement processes.
- Co-developing and executing in-store marketing plans for all brand activations & innovations based on the Marketing Calendar.
- Managing collaboration with suppliers/ agencies regarding POS material/display/gadgets to develop, design & implement the best choice to achieve required objectives.
- Executing & Tracking in-store merchandising and promotional activities across various Retail channels.
- Providing back-end support in the tracking of marketing spend on a monthly basis.
- Liaising with Sales Teams & Field Sales Operations on in store activation scheduling based on Marketing Calendar.
- Liaising with Agencies to ensure end to end execution excellence for all in store activation events across all Brands.
- Managing & Tracking inventory for all premium items in the Warehouse & Activation Agency warehouse.
- Managing procurement processes for all Trade related expenses.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Shopper Marketing Specialist role brings a minimum of 2 years of experience in shopper marketing or sales. Your background in sales will be highly beneficial, and your knowledge of the FMCG market will be crucial to your success. You are familiar with information system tools such as AC Nielsen, paceman, TNS, and GFK. Your upper-intermediate English proficiency will enable you to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Lastly, your flexibility to work during major festivals will ensure seamless store activations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Shopper marketing or Sales.
- Sales experience recommended.
- FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) market knowledge.
- Knowledge of information system tools (AC Nielsen, paceman, TNS, GFK).
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency.
- Able to work on major festival in view of Store activations.
