- Conduct regular department meeting with Transport planner, Drivers, and Supply team to understand challenges face and resolve them
- Fleet and Route Management:
- Oversee the scheduling, dispatch, and routing of the transportation fleet to optimize delivery times and reduce fuel costs and maintain fuel consumption and CO2 emissions record
- Monitor fleet utilization and recommend adjustments to maximize efficiency.
- Analyse routes and delivery patterns to identify issue and opportunities for planning improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, including vehicle maintenance, safety inspections, and driver and supply assistant hours, working with relevant team to align process.
- Conduct regular safety audits and site visit to develop training plan and inspections provide training on best practices,
- Manage and handle operational incident and reporting process to provide preventive action and implementing the action proposed.
- 3+ years of experience in transportation operations, logistics, or a similar role, with proven experience managing a team.
- Understanding of fleet management, route optimization, and safety regulations.
