The Digital and Campus Infrastructure Department provides concierge services, booking of classrooms, meeting rooms, and apartments and supports ESSEC APAC classes, workshops, and events to ensure quality delivery of on-site and virtual digital support. The department strives to provide our stakeholders an amazing campus experience.
The Office Attendant will be part of campus infrastructure team to execute support service requests from end users. The job incumbent should also have a service-oriented mindset to provide quality support services.
Main Responsibilities
Cleaning of Apartments:
- Undertake cleaning of all the apartments
- Ensure their cleanliness and hygiene
- Maintain supplies inventory in the apartments
- Change and clean the apartment linens
- Executive Programs & Events:
- Set up and tear down of banquet equipment for programmes and events
- Liaise closely with Sodexo for programmes to ensure timings for service are not missed
- Maintain inventory of pantry stocks
- Ensure tidiness and cleanliness of all pantries, including washing of used items in the sinks
- Ensure availability of pantry supplies for the pantry located on Level 3
- Serving beverages to visitors
Other responsibilities:
- Manning of reception during lunch for one hour
- Distribution of in-coming mails and newspapers
- Collection and distribution of internal mails/items
- Sending of mails at the post box or post office
- Any other ad hoc duties as required
- Manage apartment consumable inventory
Position Requirements
- Preferably with 2 years of relevant experience as an office attendant
- Prior experience in working in education sector or hospitality industry is desirable.
- Possess good organisational abilities and communication skills.
- Possess a service-oriented mindset, and friendly demeanour.
- Punctual, reliable, pleasant, accommodating, and attentive.
- Requires physical fitness to perform occasional lifting as part of the job duties.
Qualifications
- GCE N level / Nitec
- Ability to converse in English due to international work settings

The job incumbent is required to work closely with guests, students, faculty, external lecturers, ESSEC APAC staff members from various departments, and external vendors.
Working Environment and Pace
The job incumbent will need to work independently and effectively in a dynamic work environment. Some level of flexibility and agility is required.
Terms of Employment
- Monday-Friday: 8 hours per day
- Occasionally on weekends, if required
