Our client management team is looking for a Project Manager to join our Singapore office.
About the role:
This position will manage permanent or temporary merchandising projects from design adaptation to execution. It means working with our creative and technical designers to design the space and put together the construction package, then liaising with our network of partners and contractors to build and implement seamlessly, mainly in the Travel Retail channel.
Daily duties/responsibilities:
- Project management: lead and manage multiple projects from inception to completion, bringing to life permanent merchandising or temporary activations, and ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget, including: preparation of cost estimates; managing relationships with clients, stakeholders and suppliers; creating tender packages; and managing and resolving snagging lists with contracts; and providing accurate project reports.
- Client communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating regular updates and feedback sessions to maintain alignment on project goals.
- Quality control: implement quality assurance processes to ensure all deliverables meet the agency’s standards and client expectations.
- Team collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and cultivate strong relationships, in particular, with the Design Studio.
- Budget management: develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial parameters.
- Reporting: prepare and present project status reports, highlighting progress, challenges and solutions to stakeholders.
- Business growth: assist in identifying new business opportunities and strategies to expand client relationships and drive agency growth.
Qualification criteria:
- 4-6 years of relevant work experience in brands, agencies, or production houses.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or other suitable qualification) in Project Management, Marketing, Design or a related field.
- Must be fluent in Mandarin as we collaborate with various Mandarin speaking vendors.
- Experience in a small-to-medium sized agency is an advantage.
- A network of suppliers in the travel retail channel is a plus.
- Strong understanding of retail design principles and marketing strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
