Position Overview: Shape the future of music education at the Capital College of

the Arts, Management, and Technology (CCAMT) as our Program Coordinator for

Music Performance. We

seeking a passionate music educator to lead our

Diploma and Advanced Diploma programs in an innovative, multicultural

environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Leadership

o Design and implement innovative music curriculum

o Mentor and support teaching staff

o Create engaging learning experiences for students

o Lead assessment and quality improvement initiatives

2. Program Management

o Coordinate day-to-day operations of music programs

o Manage resources and budget effectively

o Plan and organize student performances and events

o Foster industry partnerships and community engagement


3. Faculty Development

o Lead and mentor a diverse team of educators

o Create professional development opportunities

o Build a collaborative teaching environment

o Promote research and industry engagement

o Support innovative teaching practices

4. Student Success

o Guide student development and progression

o Oversee audition processes

o Create supportive learning environment

o Build bridges between academic study and professional practice

What Youll Bring:

Essential Qualifications:

 At least a Bachelor degree in Music or Music Education (Master

preferred)

 Proven experience in music education and program management

 Strong leadership and communication skills

 Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin

 Experience with contemporary music education practices

 Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment

Key Competencies:

 Strategic thinking and innovation mindset

 Strong team leadership abilities

 Excellence in communication (English required, other languages valued)

 Experience with educational technology

 Commitment to diversity and inclusion
