Role Overview
As a Pet Daycare Guardian, you will be integral to our team, providing exceptional care and supervision to our furry clients in a dynamic daycare setting. Your passion for animal welfare and commitment to delivering high-quality care will ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for dogs of all sizes and breeds.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise playgroups to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all dogs.
- Engage with dogs through interactive activities and walks to promote physical and mental stimulation.
- Provide basic grooming services such as bathing and brushing to maintain the cleanliness and health of each dog.
- Administer meals and medications as per specific instructions provided
- Conduct regular health checks to identify signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the facility manager.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility by disinfecting play areas, kennels, and equipment.
- Assist in the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accurate records of attendance, health updates, and owner communication.
- Offer exceptional customer service to pet owners, providing updates and feedback about their dog's day at the facility.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in animal care or a similar field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and body language, particularly stress signals and comfort techniques.
- Excellent observation skills to detect any signs of distress or illness in dogs.
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely and confidently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
