Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance plans, standards, and protocols for production or project management.
- Review project specifications and engineering drawings to establish quality standards.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, ISO standards and regulations.
- Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database.
- Identify and document any quality issues, non-conformance and corrective actions.
- Providing guidance and advice to the Project Manager on significant changes to the quality management system with direct impact on site operations.
- Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
- Collaborate with production, engineering and project management teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis for site level NCRs and recommend corrective action and preventive actions.
- Overall knowledge of safety policies and procedures to achieve safe work practices.
Requirements:
- Diploma /Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related filed.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of working experience quality assurance/control in industrial /equipment production or engineering projects would be advantageous.
- Proficient in quality inspection tools, data analysis and report writing.
- Up to date knowledge of federal and industry standards and best practices.
- Good Interpersonal relationship and communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel for site inspections.
- Able to work independently and a good team player.
- Candidate who can start work within short notice or immediately would be advantageous.
