Responsibilities:
- To carry out account management responsibilities which include developing and maintaining long-term business relationships with customers, provide professional quotations and ensure prompt payment from customers.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters in respect of the portfolio of customers either developed by you or assigned to you.
- Develop a trusted “advisor” relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive management of customers.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of the Products and Services according to customer needs and objectives.
- Provide input for weekly, monthly and quarterly Activity Reports and the necessary plans and reports for Marine and Offshore business, as requested by the Management.
- Maintain assigned customers and develop new assigned customers to ensure continuous sustainable business growth.
- Communicate and work closely with colleagues from other departments in ensuring the overall Company objectives/performance are/is achieved, at all times.
- To achieve the required Sales Targets.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent in related field/discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of successful Sales experience within the Marine and Offshore Industry, preferrably in Marine NavCom.
- Possess ability to prospect and manage a designated territory to maximize revenue growth.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions, products and services based on customer needs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at any time while paying strict attention to details.
- Proven ability to use common office and business technologies.
- Good listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge in SAP system will be advantageous.
