Our client management team is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our Singapore office.
About the role:
This position will be involved in permanent or temporary merchandising projects from design adaptation to execution. It means working with our creative and technical designers to design the space and put together the construction package, then liaising with our network of partners and contractors to build and implement seamlessly, mainly in the Travel Retail channel.
Daily duties/responsibilities:
- Involvement in planning, overseeing and contributing to projects from initiation through to completion, bringing to life permanent merchandising or temporary activations.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, providing day-to-day support, executing projects and offering strategic advice.
- Involvement in meetings with clients, where you will receive and understand briefs, and work alongside the team to translate the brief into high-quality output that not only meets, but also exceeds, expectations.
- Proactively build and strengthen client relationships, acting as an extension of their brand and a trusted source of advice.
- Develop and cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, in particular, the Design Studio.
- Contribute to the full project flow, from Technical Drawings (TD) to Production and Installation including:
- Create project cost estimates.
- Working with studio to deliver quality 3D and TD packages to brief contractors.
- Managing relationship with clients, stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ensuring projects meet deadlines.
- Create tender package.
- Manage tender with various contractors.
- Manage construction and installation QC, budget and timing.
- Manage & resolve snagging list with contractor.
- Deliver accurate internal and external project reports.
Qualification criteria:
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in brands, agencies, or production houses.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or other suitable qualification) in Project Management, Marketing, Design or a related field.
- Must be fluent in Mandarin as we work with various mandarin speaking vendors.
- Experience in a small-to-medium sized agency is an advantage.
- A network of suppliers in the travel retail channel is a plus.
- Strong understanding of retail design principles and marketing strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
