This is a 12-month contract role based onsite in Singapore. This role requires the ability to speak fluently in Japanese to effectively communicate with clients/partners who speak the same language.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a contractor for the Entertainment Partnerships role for Japan market. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and activating potential opportunities within the Japanese market, providing business development support in strategic planning, creating presentations, and meeting with partners to drive entertainment content.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and activate potential partnership opportunities in the Japanese market (gaming/virtual reality/ entertainment industry).
  • Provide business development support in strategic planning, creating presentations, and meeting with Japanese partners to drive VR entertainment content
  • Represent the company's VR contents partnership in external meetings with executives from external partners
  • Track, analyze, and communicate to develop and execute against partnership goals
  • Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams, including Product, Marketing, Legal, Policy team, and Operations to advocate for partner needs

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience in a partnerships role in the entertainment/tech industry
  • Proven track record in prospecting, securing leads and developing new relationships
  • Strong understanding of IPs and Entertainment landscape in Japan market
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Japanese to liaise with Japanese Counterparts and clients.
  • Enthusiast in XR technology and VR AR devices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders internationally
