Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage our inventory and stock control. You will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining the store's organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and Inspect Goods: Check incoming deliveries for quantity and quality, ensuring items match the purchase orders and are undamaged.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, update stock levels, and monitor stock movements regularly to avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Stock Control: Organize and label inventory in the storage area, ensuring items are easily accessible and orderly.
- Picking and Packing Orders: Prepare and pack customer orders for delivery or dispatch, ensuring accuracy in picking the right items and quantities.
- Coordinate with Sales and Procurement: Work closely with the sales and procurement teams to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained and orders are fulfilled on time.
- Stock Replenishment: Track low-stock items and coordinate with the purchasing department for timely replenishment.
- Maintain Cleanliness and Safety: Keep the storage area clean, well-organized, and compliant with safety standards to prevent accidents or product damage.
- Report and Document: Prepare and submit regular stock reports, documenting any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if required).
- Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams.
- Basic knowledge of inventory software or willingness to learn.
